RIP: Huggy Boy - Jimmie Maddin - Danny Flores
Aug. 30 thru Sept. 18 RIP
So far this month, long time L.A. DJ Dick Hugg "Huggy Boy" passed away, followed by DJ, musician, club owner and musician Jimmie Maddin and saxman/"Tequila" creator, Danny Flores. Great men all, they will be missed.
Steve, Your interview with Huggy Boy is a cherished treasure of mine. I listened to his as a kid growing up in Downey CA. The story of him delivering the compilation records that he sold himself to an old lady that didn't have a record player is priceless. Thanx. Eric Nielsen
